Example: a couple of minutes after setup, Littlebird shows what it has picked up and suggests routines to try. The green light means it's on

Questions people ask before they install

Need help installing? Read the install guide, ask us on Discord or email support@littlebird.ai.

Is Littlebird free?

Yes. The Basic plan is free and needs no card. It has limits on meetings, routines and advanced chat, and you can compare plans on our pricing page.

What do I need for meeting notes on a Mac?

macOS 14.2 or later. Everything else works on macOS 13 or later.

Does Littlebird work on Windows?

Yes. Littlebird runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), and meeting notes work on Windows as well as Mac. Hover, which opens Littlebird over any app, is on Mac only.

Can I use Littlebird on my phone or in a browser?

Yes. The iPhone and Android apps and the web app at app.littlebird.ai let you chat with Littlebird and search what it knows. The Mac and Windows apps are the ones that remember what's on your screen. One account works everywhere, and your plan covers all of them.

Will it work on my work computer?

On a Mac, setup needs one permission, Accessibility, and asks for your microphone only if you want meeting notes. Windows asks for none. If your company manages your computer, your IT team can request our SOC 2 Type II report in the Trust Center.

Is the download safe?

Yes. The Mac app is notarized by Apple, and the Windows installer is signed.

Does Littlebird update itself?

Yes. It downloads new versions in the background and installs them when you step away, never during a meeting. The phone apps update through their app stores.

Does a bot join my meetings?

No. Littlebird takes notes on your Mac or Windows computer without a bot joining the call, and it asks before it starts unless you set it to start on its own.

Is my data secure?

Littlebird never sells your data. It has a SOC 2 Type II report from an independent audit. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and it is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States. The details are in our Trust Center, and our privacy page explains the controls.
