Is Littlebird HIPAA compliant?
Littlebird supports HIPAA once an admin accepts its Business Associate Agreement in the app for the team. With HIPAA on, Littlebird uses only the AI providers it has set up for HIPAA accounts, and share links and team sharing turn off.
Who accepts the BAA, and can we read it first?
A team admin opens the agreement in Settings, Team, reads it and accepts it once for everyone, including people who join later.
What sits outside HIPAA mode?
Texting Littlebird, apps you connect, Littlebird MCP and the summary, prep and routine emails, which each person can turn off. Keep patient details out of them.
Does Littlebird work with our EHR?
Littlebird works alongside it. Littlebird remembers what each person sees on screen, including the EHR unless you keep it out, and it doesn’t connect to the EHR or write into it.
Can admins see what people work on?
No. Admins manage seats and settings and see usage counts, never anyone’s chats, meeting notes or memory.
Does a bot join our calls?
No. Littlebird takes notes from the computer’s audio, so no bot joins your Zoom, Microsoft Teams or browser call. It asks before it starts.
We already use an AI chat tool. Why add Littlebird?
Littlebird remembers what each person saw on screen and heard in meetings, so they can ask about their week without pasting anything into a prompt. Once an admin accepts the BAA, the whole team can use chat, memory and meeting notes with patient information.
