Developers, engineers and product managers ask Littlebird about the specs, tickets, threads and calls they’ve seen, without leaving their flow

What was the command to reset the staging database?

Looked through your context

Run this from the api repo:

make db-reset ENV=staging

Sam shared it in #infra on Slack yesterday at 4:12 PM, after the migration test.

Walk into sprint review knowing what moved

Every Friday, Littlebird sums up what shipped and what’s at risk from the reviews, threads and calls you saw

  • Set it up once in chat, or copy Sprint Review from our routine library
  • Runs on the server, so it’s ready before you open your laptop
  • In the app and in your inbox
Sprint ReviewRan today at 4:00 PMWeekly

Two fixes shipped this week, the bulk export is on track for December 1, and one item is at risk.

  • Shipped: payments retries now run from a queue, from the pull request you reviewed on Tuesday.
  • Shipped: the checkout tests pass again after the missing environment variable fix.
  • Moving: Brook’s bulk export backend is in review, and your UI work starts on Monday.
  • At risk: the slow refund job Avery flagged in #payments still has no owner.

Ask why it was built, what changed and what customers said

Software engineers find the reasoning behind a decision, DevOps engineers catch up before on-call and product managers hear what customers said

Why did we pick a NoSQL database for the events service?

To handle bursty writes without schema migrations. The design doc chose it after Sam’s load test on March 4, the team agreed at the March 12 architecture review, and Avery posted the final write numbers in #events the next day.

Catch me up on the payments service before my on-call shift.

Two changes since your last shift: retries moved to a queue on Tuesday, and the timeout alert went up to 30 seconds. Avery flagged a slow refund job in #payments.

What did customers say about exports this month?

Searched through your meetingsAccessed Gmail

Four customers raised slow CSV exports: Birdseed Brands and Flock Industries on calls, and two more by email. Most want exports over 50,000 rows.

Turn the planning call into a spec

Ask for the PRD, and Littlebird drafts it in Google Docs from what the team decided on the call

Draft the bulk export PRD from today’s planning call.

On the call, the team agreed to ship CSV first, behind a flag, by December 1. Here’s the draft in Google Docs, with the Google Sheets option left for a later release.

Questions engineering and product teams ask

Does Littlebird see my code?

The desktop app remembers what you see on screen, which can include your editor, terminal and browser. Keep out any app or website you choose, and pause it whenever you like.

Does it work with my issue tracker and repos?

Littlebird remembers what you see on screen, including the issues and pull requests you open. To connect an app directly, check the integrations directory for what’s available.

Can I keep secrets out of Littlebird?

Yes. Password managers are kept out by default, and you can keep out any app or website, like a secrets manager or a production console. Pause Littlebird anytime, and if something slips through, delete the last hour.

Can I ask without leaving my editor?

Yes, on a Mac. Turn on Hover and double-tap Option to ask about the window you’re in, like your editor or a pull request. Hover sees the window you ask about, even an app you’ve kept out of Littlebird’s memory.

Can my AI coding tools use Littlebird?

Yes. Littlebird MCP lets AI chat apps and code editors that support MCP look up your Littlebird context, after you sign in and allow access. It’s available on paid plans.

Does a bot join my meetings?

No. Littlebird takes notes from your computer’s audio, so no bot joins the call and it works with the meeting app you already use. Let people know you’re taking notes, as your company’s policy and local law require.

Is Littlebird secure enough for my company?

Littlebird is SOC 2 Type II compliant, and HIPAA is available once you accept the BAA in the app. It never sells your data. The details are in our Trust Center.

Does Littlebird work on Windows and my phone?

Yes. Littlebird runs on Mac and Windows, on the web at app.littlebird.ai and on iPhone and Android. Remembering your screen happens in the desktop app on Mac and Windows.

Is Littlebird free?

You can start for free. Paid plans add more capacity and features. Compare them on our pricing page.
