Littlebird for students: the $15 plan, explained

Carson Eisner
Growth Engineer

Littlebird's student discount gets actively enrolled students the Plus plan for $15 per month, with the first two months free. You apply with a .edu email. Plus normally runs $17 per month billed annually or $20 billed monthly, so the student rate is the cheapest way to get unlimited meeting notes and the higher chat limits.

What the student plan includes

The student rate is the Plus tier, which adds to the Basic tier: advanced intelligence in chat, enhanced memory and personalization, more daily chats and routines, unlimited meeting notes, image generation, max intelligence for complex tasks and deep research, and priority support. Basic itself stays free, with full context from day one, limited daily chats, limited meeting notes, and meeting notes in 10 or more languages, so you can try the shape of the product before paying anything.

How a screen-aware assistant fits a semester

A semester is a memory problem wearing a workload costume. Eleven weeks of lectures, readings, and seminar tangents all become "the exam" at once, and the classic tools only know what you typed into them, which by week 11 is not much. Littlebird pays attention to the active window while you read and write, and Meeting Notes works for any audio or video playing on your computer, which includes recorded lectures and seminar calls, not only live meetings.

So by reading week the record already exists. Ask Chat what a professor said about a topic across the semester, or have a Routine deliver a weekly recap per course. The knowledge hook is the honest one: it remembers everything you read, hear, and learn, so review starts from your actual semester instead of a blank page.

The honest caveats for students

Three. First, the core product is desktop, Mac and Windows, with iOS and Android as companion apps for asking questions, so a tablet-only setup will not capture much. Second, your memory is encrypted and stored in the AWS cloud, not on your laptop; you can pause capture, exclude apps, and delete data anytime, and Littlebird never trains on or sells your data. Third, an assistant that recalls your material is a study aid, not a shortcut: your school's academic-integrity rules on AI still apply to what you submit.
